Aloha!

My name is Chandler Hayven Vicars and I am a photographer, living out my island dream on Maui!

A motto I’ve lived by since moving to the island is “Just Be” - meaning, live in the moment, be present and soak up everything this beautiful island has to offer. 

I view photography as the vessel that captures those moments of “just be-ing”. My passion for sharing these moments with others is what drove me to explore photography. I capture love, connection, and the in-between moments to create stories that will last a lifetime through both candid and posed photos.

Maui became home to me and my husband five years ago and it was easily the best decision we have made! When I am not behind the lens you will most likely find me in the water. I absolutely love scuba/free diving and snorkeling! I consider the ocean as my sanctuary and feel so blessed I get to share and capture its beauty through photography. 

Photography is an avenue that allows me to appreciate and share my gratitude for this beautiful island by capturing endless expressions of love. Sharing the places I’ve found with you on Maui, respecting them and enjoying them is something I pride myself on.
